Our Story

Founded on the vision of democratizing edge AI knowledge

edgemiinnde was established in 2017 when Singapore's Smart Nation initiative began accelerating IoT adoption across the island nation. Our founders, a team of AI researchers and industry practitioners, recognized a critical gap in the market: while cloud-based AI solutions dominated the landscape, the emerging field of edge computing lacked specialized educational resources.

The inspiration came from observing how traditional AI education focused heavily on cloud infrastructure and high-compute environments, leaving developers unprepared for the unique challenges of resource-constrained edge devices. With Singapore positioning itself as a global technology hub, we saw an opportunity to create the world's first comprehensive edge AI development curriculum.

Starting with a small cohort of 15 developers in a co-working space near Raffles Place, edgemiinnde quickly gained recognition for its hands-on approach to edge computing education. Our emphasis on real hardware, practical deployment scenarios, and industry partnerships resonated with both individual learners and corporate training programs.

Today, edgemiinnde operates from our state-of-the-art facility at Prudential Tower, equipped with the latest edge computing hardware, industrial IoT simulators, and mobile development labs.
